About
Crystal is an editor, lifelong writer, and indiscriminate reader. From her first Bob Books to a formal education in the classics and a deep love of fantasy novels, each book has shaped her fascination with the power of words.
She studied English Literature, Creative, and Professional Writing at the University of Idaho and went on to study Book Publishing at the Denver Publishing Institute. Upon graduating, her love of books only increased and she is now an advocate for all writers at whatever stage they are in. She is always seeking to learn more about writing craft and editing techniques and is a proud member of the LGBTQ+ Editors Association. She strongly believes that there is no such thing as a stupid question. I never use AI in my editing process so your work will stay safe and you never have to worry about losing the humanity or nuance of your story. Crystal lives in the Midwestern United States with her family. She is an advocate for mental health and neurodiversity—especially their significance in the arts. When she isn't working, she loves to read, write, restore typewriters, embroider, or challenge herself with a new knitting pattern
